Our Legacy

The early conceptual vision and foundation stone of CSOB for a new and developing India needing independent institutions as a sounding board for the government and the private sector was laid by Late Honourable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in early 2004. All our work and activities are a tribute to the Bharat Ratna awardee, a beloved visionary.

CSOB unites the Indian nationality representative and officials of ministries, apex bodies, commissions, committees, missions, autonomous organizations, independent departments, academies, institutions, legislature, Hon’ble judiciary, international, union government, states & UT’s of the Republic of India for the welfare of Members and country as a whole by Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach, both government and private sector have enormously encouraged and supported the initiatives of CSOB.

The CSOB Chairmanship is reserved for Cabinet minister/ Cabinet Minister of states, Government of India (GOI). President position is reserved for the Member of Parliament (MP). The governing body is represented by eminent members from different noble profession belongs to Indian nationality.

CSOB is the premier policy 'Think Tank' and welfare organisation. Providing both directional and policy inputs while designing strategic & long-term policies and programmes for the Govt. of India, in the period of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

CSOB, headquartered in New Delhi, is a Government of India Registered Autonomous Organisation. It is an India based Independent, Non-Partisan / Non-profit organisation that works in all legal means to strengthen humanity. We are think-tank that assists in the improvement of governance processes, policies, key national and international issues to promote equal opportunities to enhance the quality of life, wellbeing of the people, peace and global harmony. We undertake research, conduct studies, and interact with civil society, thru seminar, workshops, conference & survey on issues of governance and national interest.

We engage fellows, consultants, subject matter specialists and research associates for works related to it. This endeavour of serving humanity is supported by leading social worker, socio-political thinker, politician, intellectuals, volunteer, academicians, policy makers, eminent peoples, business leaders, other think tanks institutions and civil society representatives.

We strive to become global think tank by bringing together the Intellectual’s, Civil Society, Government and NGO’s across the world to ideate and work on international and global issues that further strengthen the cause of humanity through its various program’s / projects / events / survey and association or partnership with individual, government and non - government organization in different parts of India and abroad. The board has legally come into force under Indian trust act 1884 having Reg No.307 in Book No.4 Vol. No.1911 on page 82 to 94 by Registrar / Sub Registrar IX, New Delhi-2018. It is a unique research & welfare organization that has stood the test of time in its service to the nation.

Inspired from the vision of our prime minister Honourable Shri Narendra Modi that till completion of 75 years of nation’s independence, i.e. 2022, every family have a permanent house with water connections, toilets facilities, 24x7 power supply and other smart city standards facilities in New Delhi in MPD 2021. We have taken steps to contribute to his vision to make it a reality. CSOB unites its old and new members for a common cause to have the accessibility of affordable housing, cultural centre, school and hospital. The CSOB has reserved 60% of its membership for the Hon'ble judiciary, defence, Indian nationality representative, ministries, apex bodies, commissions, committees, missions, autonomous bodies, independent department, academies, institutions, legislature, international, union government, states and UT’s of India having grade ‘A’ cadre, besides this 15% is open for general public and 25% for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
